Allyson A. - Custom Card Box

Ready for shipment, is this Texas bound card box for Allyson & Joel. Aside from the card box, they decided to order a custom logo as they loved our "Intertwined" collection and wanted one created for them to go on their modern card box. Below is their completed order. Best wishes, congrats & thank you!

Word from the Wise: A Past 2007 Customer :)

Recently we recevied the below email, and thought it was so sweet, we wanted to share with our readers :)

During our cleaning today, I came across our container that we had all our wedding stuff of course, we opened it up and ya know...we pulled out our fabulous card box!! :-)

So pictures really don't do the card boxes any justice!! the box itself is much more impressive then the picture!!

It's wonderful to hear when A. Our customers love their card box, even AFTER the wedding and B. they hold onto it :)

Miss Illinois 2007, Mia H. - Custom Card Box

We've had the pleasure of working with Miss Illinois 2007, Mia Heaston. She ordered a card box for her upcoming bridal shower. When she ordered her card box, she originally wanted black, white & hot pink. Then prior to production she decided to go a little more formal and changed the look of her card box to ivory with lots of hot pink ribbon for pop. It came out super cute and with touches of rhinestones throughout, its fun yet elegant. We hope we get to work with her on other items for her June wedding. Thanks Mia! (please excuse the quality of the picture, we're short a studio light today!)

Lauren M. - Custom Logo Order

Fourth of July is one of our favorite days to get married (of course assuming it falls on a weekend). It's two celebrations in one and well, it's just fab. Lauren came to us yesterday for a custom logo for her 7/4 wedding and wanted fireworks. I mean really, how can you have a July 4th wedding without fireworks? The logo that her designer created is very unique and uber cool, thought we'd share!

We Can't Hide Our Excitement Anymore!

Over the past several weeks we have been working with a fabulous couple, Eileen & Patrick, and their friend Jackie (helping plan their wedding) on completely custom designed pocketfold invitations. They are having a rock and roll wedding and nothing they've seen was doing it for them. So they went the avenue of fully custom designed and now that everything is in print, we wanted to show it off. We wanted to wait until the final invite was assembled, but frankly we're just too excited. When it's completed though, we'll definitely post actual pictures. Here are the digitals. Their logo, inserts and digital layout. Most everything is metallic including the hot pink envelope liners and hot pink RSVP envelopes. C'mon who doesn't love sparkle!

Jillian A. - Custom Card Box & Menu Order

Jillian's about to be married and we wanted to show off her goodies! I believe we've already blogged about her logo, the funky building that they are getting married in, and how we made it work for the occasion. Here are her menus and card box. Congrats Jillian & Robert!

Custom Save The Dates

Not too long ago we did a raffle using our database of card box customers, and Jessica C. won free custom designed Save The Dates. She had already also ordered a custom logo to use as her favor stickers. So once she won, she wanted the Save The Dates to be a similar design. Now that they are ready to ship, we wanted to show them off :)

Chrysanna - Custom Logos

Getting married at Stowe Mountain Resort in Vermont, Chrysanna came to us to create some custom logos to capture the woodsy outdoor feel: pine trees, mountains, the moon... With quite an extensive color palette, the designer kept with the natural tones and chose sage and brown. Chrysanna particular liked a logo we had done from our "Flutter" collection, so in keeping with that, her first logo was inspired by that but of course altered to fit her wedding. She also wanted one with just their first names. They came out fabulous and look forward to hearing back from her!

There's A First Time For Everything!!!

Caroline placed an custom logo order the other day to use for her Jamaica bound wedding. Red, light blue & silver - using palm trees and sand dollars. Easy enough.

The day after, she emailed asking to please incorporate a hedgehog. Why you ask? Snapple Fact #289: Well at some point in their lives, they both had owned a pet hedgehog. Sure at first we thought, how strange but if you really think about it, you can't possibly get more personalized than that! It was a bit challenging but all things considering, the cute little guy actually brings a smile when you look at him. He's just chillin....

Custom St. Patrick's Day Cards

Back in 2007, Jackie came to us to do all her stationery elements and card box. A couple months back she came to us as she's helping plan (or dare we say 'she is planning') her friend's wedding. Since we are doing everything under the sun for them (pocketfold invitations, menus, poster size placecard seating chart, etc) that will have a posting all it's own when everything is completed!

Anywho she was looking online for St. Patrick's Day cards to send out and wasn't digging any of the designs. When you can't find anything you like.... have it made for you :) We custom designed this card to frame her EDIBLE baby boy Caden. I mean c'mon, who couldn't have a good St. Patty's Day after seeing that face?!?!

A $10,000 Wedding: Her Custom Logo

A $10,000 Wedding was our staff pick for the featured blog of the month. She's extremely witty and it's near impossible to peel yourself away from reading her clever diatribes and wedding planning ideas and obstacles. You can find the link to her blog further down on the right hand sidebar under FEATURED BLOG. Certainly check it out!

Well we are doing her menu cards which also warrants her a free logo design. Being that she is anonymous, we respect her request to remain that way, so we have altered her actual logo for this posting. When her menu design is completed, we'll be sure to post that as well.

9 Custom Logos for One Couple!

A couple posts down are some logos that were made for our customer Breanne. So loved them so much she ordered 6 more! What is she going to do with 9 logos? Well we're not quite sure but we're having fun making all different styles for her :) Her first three again are a post or two down and here is her second set of 3. I'm sure the last set will make it on here eventually :)

Calling All Beer Drinkers!

So last week Jen contacted us to duplicate a particular style beer logo using their information, colors and tweaking it a bit to be wedding-ish :) She was using the design to print and put on their beer favors. Her fiance, John, brewed beer for their wedding and that will be the favor. LOVE IT! So instead of just the logo, we explained that we do actual labels so that she has more room to include text, like a standard beer label would. So she provided some wording, very cute, very witty and we absolutely love it. Here's their label!

Another 2010 Bride :)

As we always say, we love the early birds! Breanne came to us via Etsy looking for custom logos using the ever popular, fuchsia-lime-tangerine color scheme. She loves the mixture of fancy fonts with modern fonts and she also loved our Intertwined collection. Here are just a couple of her logos. She actually got 4 different ones (her designer mistakenly looked over a specific layout she wanted, so the correction was made after the logos were originally created). These are some fun and different ones we wanted to show our bloggers :)

Custom Menu/Donation Card

Lauren, one of our card box customers who is getting married next month (YAY!) came to us to design her menus. Shortly after she also wanted us to do her donation cards. So to help her save some dough, we suggested combining the two: have the menu on one side and the donation on the other. She loved the idea but was worried about her guests not flipping it over to read the donation side. Solution? We have custom designed and are printing cards for her. Logo on the front, menu & donation on the inside, and a picture and thank you message on the back. Truly customized just for her and covers all the things she wanted, in one 5x7 card :) How perfect!

Some Fun Logos!

As promised to our readers, we're making the effort to keep posting more of our custom logos. We received an order from a 2010 bride (we love the early birds!) with the popular spring colors of fuchsia, lime & tangerine. We say popular because... well read a couple posts down with the same color card box.

Anywho, so here are her fun logos. They are first round proofs we're just waiting to hear back from her. We'll of course update the posting with any revisions.

Look For Us On Platinum Weddings!

In 10 days, one of our brides will be the featured story on Platinum Weddings. We are so unbeliveably excited for her. Pictures were sent our way a while back and the wedding was amazing! Black and white, very posh and very bling! We cannot wait to watch it. Their coordinator happened to be our favorite company to work with: Table 6 Productions. Shannon organizes the most remarkable weddings, we LOVE working with her! Be sure to tune in.

Among her crystalized wedding, keep your eye out for her card box :)

Custom Logo

Again we wanted to show our bloggers some more current logo orders and we keep getting emails that we aren't showing enough lol So listening to all of you, here are a couple more :)

Both of these brides are also card box customers of ours, and Lauren also ordered menu card/donation cards from us (they will be custom designed for her- that's for another post!).

Lija's colors: light pink and mauve, Lauren's colors: gold, black & ivory. Two completely different looks that they are going for, one victorian and elegant, the other modern and elegant. We love it!

Keyre' R. - Custom Card Box

It's all about the bling! Keyre', the self proclaimed "Bling Queen", ordered a card box from us and now that her wedding is approaching, we are glad to have her card box done and ready to be shipped! Very classic and elegant colors, you can't go wrong with black & white. She made it very clear that she wanted her bling, floating rhinestones around the personalization and all around the bottom. Ask and you shall receive. Complete with the rhinestone trimmed card slot upgrade. Go big, or go home :) Thanks Keyre', best wishes!

Our Official Spring Kick-off!

It has begun.... the season of gerbera daisies. Spring is coming, sooner in some areas than others, and we just completed our first one this year. It's for one of our California couples, out here in NJ we are still bearing the bitter cold. Maggie, the bride, opted for the coordinating advice/wish box and they both look fantastic. She wanted fun & funky and clearly it's very festive for the season. Fuchsia, lime & orange are awesome colors for spring (heck they are awesome colors for a wedding) and every year we do about 400 orders with these colors, requesting gerbera daisies.... expect more pictures throughout the season because we KNOW there will be many more.

We Were Featured Today On "THE HANDCRAFTED WEDDING"!

Wow the last two days have been very exciting! Yesterday we won an award and today we received an email letting us know that we were today's feature on "The Handcrafted Wedding: The cure for the common wedding".

We are very grateful for the wonderful things they had to say about us and our card boxes. Poking around their website... nothing but fantastic finds! Definitely check out the feature and do some fishing around yourself. If you want different ideas, you are in the right spot :)

Thanks again Handcrafted Wedding, you rock!

Jennifer K. - Custom Card Box & Menu Card Winner!

So not too long ago, we had a post with a menu that was custom created for one of the raffle winners- Jennifer K. Her card box was just finished today and since both elements were designed around each other, we wanted to showcase how it all came together. Thanks Jennifer and congrats!

Jennifer M. - Custom Logo

Ahhhh it's the time for all the spring and summer brides to start getting antsy as your time is quickly approaching! We received a logo order from a June bride who wanted to incorporate a seahorse into the overall look. Typically most beach related orders ask for a seashell, palm tree, and starfish, but since we got to use something different we wanted to show them off. Plus we love the colors :)

Valentine's is Finally Over- For Us Anyways!

Over the past couple days we have showcased a couple Valentine's weekend card box orders, mainly because the orders were unique: one box was shipping to Sweden and the other ordered by the groom (which is rare). This box isn't shipping anywhere international and the groom didn't order it, but it certainly is puuurdy. We just wanted to show everyone and we promise, this is the last Valentine's card box. It's a clear depiction of the holiday though: red/black/white, roses & hearts. Thanks Emmaline, we hope your day goes perfectly!!!

Top Staff Pick! February's Featured Blog

When beginning to plan a wedding, and even throughout the entire (often times tedious) process, you need inspiration. Where do you start? What colors should you do? Flowers, no flowers? Favors or give a donation? Sooo many questions and decisions to make and in most cases, brides leave themselves only a year or so to sort through all the madness.

This month's featured blog is "A $10,000 Wedding" and is so inspirational, informative and creative. Don't want your wedding to be cookie cutter? Definitely check out this blog and all that she has to say. She launched the blog before she was even engaged, however now she is engaged and the fantastic details and decisions she makes, keeps on coming. Planning a wedding is a journey, an addicition, an achievement that you can look back on for the rest of your life. Sure after the fact there may be things you would have done differently, but those things are what YOU did and decided on that made your wedding day perfect. Embrace the headache that wedding planning will certainly give you, embrace all the decisions you make, and embrace any of the pitfalls that WILL happen the day of. Face it, things will go wrong, however minor or major. Even with a coordinator, nothing happens absolutely perfectly. It's just with a planner, they are usually there to cover up the mishaps and make sure you never find out. It's your day, your way and have fun making it that way.

Check out this blog, it's fabulous, it's different and if you don't get inspired, well.... you're just silly :)

Jeremy B. - Custom Card Box

The last round of orders, for Valentine's Weekend, all were pretty much the same colors- black, white & red. Very fitting for the holiday of love! We just wanted to showcase one of them for all our bloggers. It's rare that the groom does the ordering, but it does happen and we were glad to work with Jeremy. Happy Valentine's Day and Merry Wedding to you both! :)
